Beyond the Frame

Beyond the Frame: Celebrating a Partnership in Public Education and the Arts, which was a collaboration between WAM and Worcester State University. It is a gorgeous 74-page book, which features signature art works at the museum in high quality reproductions and twelve essays by distinguished New England writers and WSU faculty.  

Among the essayists, we have two Pulitzer Prize winners, Megan Marshall and Lloyd Schwartz; the Whiting Award winner Anthony Walton; the renowned novelist Gish Jen; the Cuban-American memoirist Pablo Medina; journalist and poet Kirun Kapur; the founder of ecological criticism, Lawrence Buell; and the NAACP Image Award finalist Lauren Alleyne.
